OUR STORY

Creating a Kinder World for Reptiles

OUR HATCH DATE
Last Resort Reptiles MN was created in June of 2023, but ultimately, our large-scale rescue efforts were paused in August 2024 due to intense need, unattainable costs, and personal exhaustion. Our founder was then diagnosed with breast cancer, so all rescue efforts are on hold for further notice.

OUR MISSION
The mission of Last Resort Reptiles is to spread our love of reptiles. In our efforts, it has been noticed that kids aren’t exposed to reptiles on a large-scale basis like they are cats, dogs, and other small animals. This lack of exposure promotes fear. We are here to change that. Our mission is to save under-cared-for reptiles, expose the community to the wonders they offer, and to improve the knowledge and standard of care of each species.
